The existing flat floor was replaced by a gently sloped floor with fixed seating and desktops, organized in concentric curving rows contained by parapet walls and centered on the presentation area at the front of the room, much like a classical amphitheatre. The new curved desktops are equipped with tele-data ports and power outlets (one per pair of seats), served from below the floor. The angled ceiling design also focuses the audience's attention on the speaker's area which is further defined by the sloped ends of the recessed greenboard and projection screen.
Sophisticated audio-visual fit-out allows the speaker to move about the room to engage the audience more intimately, while still able to control the audio-visual presentation and lighting settings.
Access/exit aisles are provided on the east and west sides of the fixed seating.The exit passage along the west wall leads to the south exit where a new ADA compliant exit-way has been provided.
